Hi everybody,
I wanted to quickly recommend a few meditation teachers to you, as a follow up to last month’s column about starting meditating. These are teachers I access on InsightTimer but you can get their stuff all over.
My very favorites are Sarah Blondin and davidji, so more often than not I’m doing their classes. But perhaps you check them or any of these out and are like, gahhh I hate this!!! That’s fine! So much has to do with your own desires and needs, right now. I do recommend finding people you just genuinely like listening to or feel resonant with or find inspiring. Sarah Blondin somehow still manages to make me cry, all the dang time.
But maybe some teacher is too woo woo for your tastes or not woo woo enough or not the sort of woo woo you are, whatever. Good news is options abound. If you start a particular class and hate it, just quit and start another.

Alright! It’s a high stress time for me I admit so I’m gonna go stress-bake some date scones. Have been thinking of long ago when I studied abroad in New Zealand and how I’d eat date scones every chance I got.
